Description
We are looking for someone who is passionate about a career working within early years. You must be a quick leaner who is able to work as part of a busy team and alone, using your initiative. Full training and support will be given in house and online through our e-learning provider.

We are a busy family-owned Private Day Nursery in the heart of Queensbury Village.

We care for children from birth to five at our nursery site, and all primary school aged children at our Out of school club site.
Roles & Responsibilities
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the team of early years practitioners
- Attend regular staff meetings
- Complete Mandatory training
- Caring for children between 0-5years at the nursery site
- Planning and carrying out a wide range of stimulating activities
- Completing written observations
- Communicating with colleagues
- Communicating with the children and their families
- General day to day cleaning
- Nappy changing
- Preparing snacks
- Preparing formula milk and feeding babies
- Comforting distressed babies & children
- Attending to basic first aid needs, by showing care and compassion.
- Working alongside a mentor, with regular 1 to 1s.
- Completion of collage work inline with units set by college tutor.

- Local to Queensbury or the Bradford/Halifax area

- Some childcare experience will be advantageous
- Friendly and approachable
Working Days
40 Hours per week Over 4 days (10.5hour days) 1 day per week off 30mins lunch each day
Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths and English at C or above
