As an Apprentice Project Manager, you will work to complete your apprentice Level 4 in Associate Project Manager
Employer Description
Abzorb provide telecommunication and networking solutions and support to leading businesses and public sectors across the UK. They are expanding and looking to employ a dynamic project manager to coordinate and complete tasks within their Sales team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide general project management activity to the sales team. This will include tasks such as developing scopes, budget and costs control, scheduling tasks and resource and risk management
- Develop and implement structures and tasks for planning, processes, delivery and monitoring and evaluation of the sales team activity
- Coordinate and communicate all elements of the project processes and expectations to internal managers and team members and external stakeholders and clients
- Collect and record required information from the sales team
- Coordinate and analyse information to produce reports, graphs and statistics
- Utilise a range of IT packages including Excel to undertake tasks across the team
- Carry out administration and coordination task on behalf of the team such as telephone calls, booking meetings, preparing information for clients and for the team.
- Work in a team environment and communicate well with key team members and customers as required
- Apply health and safety processes and guidance when completing tasks
Skills Required
Abzorb are looking for someone who can work in a professional and fast paced, driven environment. You must have:
- An interest in learning internal processes, computer packages and for the apprenticeship standard
- Experience of working with Excel and other IT packages
- Good attention to detail
- Be a team player
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Working Days
Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm
Qualifications Required
Either before or during the apprenticeship, apprentices will be required to achieve level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics prior to taking end point assessment (EPA). Apprentices are required to achieve a suitable level of knowledge as part of their development such that they achieve an IPMA Level D qualification or APM Project Management Qualification, prior to their EPA
